Very strong getting people to learn to reaD music--very long in experience,all ages,all levels - aim at the joy of music, not scales. Have 3 recitals/year
Much teacher education/experience..am performing teacher as well
I do not travel--lessonbs must be in my apartment where I have access to a wealth of materials, blackboards etc.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Try a lesson or 2 from perhaps 2 or 3 different teachers to see if it feels like a ghood match
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How to realistically fit practicing into their busy lives--what kind of instrument they need-- upright piano,grand piano,keyboard etc..they must have some instrument!
