Shih-Yi Chiang

My background includes obtaining a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the Juilliard School in Piano Performance as well a DMA from CUNY Graduate Center. I have over 20 years of teaching experience working with students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds.

My knowledge of the vast piano repertory and ability to choose appropriate repertoire allows my students to learn systematically and progressively. My approach is to demonstrate in lessons, and pinpoint each student's needs. I believe in tailoring each session to develop the techniques and best methods so that each student will move forward and successfully achieve the highest musical goals.
