How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching for more than 40 years. I am one of the few coaches you will ever meet that actually trained to be a coach and not just act.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages and experience levels.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was one of the founders of the American Performance Alliance.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Take the time to see if the coaching style will work for you. Many actors make the mistake believing that the coach will make them a great actor, make sure you understand that most success in any field comes from using and being committted to what you learn. If you have a time table to become succesful it means you are not serious about acting. It could hapen quickly but like any success it is only a stable career if you truly know what you are doing.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. What are your acting goals.
2. Do you have the time to become an actor.
3. Do you have the commitment to learn, audition, and train
4. If you just want to do this as a hobby make sure to tell thecoach
