I seem to have made a lifetime of working in a craft related capacity. Currently, I teach painting in a social environment at local bars. My Facebook is Painting and Vino-Las Vegas. I spent years in the digital fabric industry creating the chemical formulation for dyes to bond to fabrics. My unique digital designs are featured in many books. My family was in the art gallery business where I opened my own gallery in Orange County, California, receiving numerous awards. At one point, I joined the Army and became a nurse, only to find that my passion was in the arts. As a child, I sewed my own clothing as well as the clothing for my family, out of necessity. Making something yourself is the best feeling in the world!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start with a phone or skype conversation. I need to see samples of where the student is at and I need a clear understanding of what their goals are. We might do a few skill tests to see if we are a good fit before we dive in.
