Culture Shock Las Vegas

With over twenty years in operation, Culture Shock Las Vegas is an internationally acclaimed nonprofit 501(c)(3) dance troupe and youth outreach program.

MISSION

Culture Shock utilizes Hip Hop & urban dance culture to cultivate education, enrichment and entertainment to inspire positive change in the communities we serve.

VISION

Strive to be a positive, artistic resource by promoting a healthy, nonviolent, drug-free lifestyle, and cultural diversity through education and performance. Promote acceptance that transcends all barriers of age, ethnicity, race, and gender. Communicate and live our vision.

PURPOSE

The purpose of Culture Shock Las Vegas, Inc. (CSLV) is to provide dance training, educational, cultural, and community enrichment programs to all people, especially to underprivileged youth in Southern Nevada as well as engage in any other artistic activities.

Culture Shock Las Vegas has a strong commitment to preserving hip hop/ urban styles dance in their original forms and making dance education accessible to all. Our goal is to provide a safe place for the cultivation, preservation and promotion of art forms, both traditional and contemporary, representing the diverse array of cultures that make up Las Vegas today.

Former students of Culture Shock Las Vegas are now performing artists at Cirque du Soleil MJ ONE, and touring with Artist such as Ariana Grande, JLO, Major Lazer, and many more.
