Ready Set Gig is a great place to learn how to play music. In my experience other music schools teach you either how to play your instrument or just how to play songs. But Doug and his team at Ready Set Gig are different. You get the full experience of learning how to play songs and be apart if a band as well as the music theory you need to know for mastering your instrument. Plus their music theory book is loaded with knowledge and the staff + instructors really catered to my needs as a musician. It's a great environment and you can tell when you walk in the door.

Steve taught my daughter drums whilst we were on holiday in Vegas two years ago. She now has weekly lessons via Skype with Steve. Steve is a fantastic teacher, who understands how to teach children/people of all ages and how to get the best out of them. My daughter adores him, and is always happy in her one hour lessons. She has learnt a lot in her lessons and looks forward to them. Not only is Steve a great drum teacher, he is also a fantastic professional drummer. It's great for my daughter to have a teacher who still performs professionally and understands not only the importance of the technical side of drumming, but also having fun, the music world and the skills needed to be a professional drummer. My daughter is currently 8 years old and I know that she will learn all that needs to from Steve. I would highly recommend him as a teacher and as a professional drummer.
