About

I am an experienced piano teacher for years. Music major at Taiwan theological college, teaching at Yamaha Music School and at the college. I went to study piano at University of Minnesota under Ms Judith Bailey. I am a life time pianist for church services. I was a teachers trainer for YAMAHA music school and now teaching private lessons at my studio with my husband, who is also a very experienced piano teacher, study Piano at University of Mennisota.

Over the past years, the most enjoyable thing is: seeing our students being succesful in the music field of education, i.e., some are professors in different colleges, music teachers from K to grade 12, church music directors and pianists.

Now more than 10 years here in Las Vegas, we have seen many different people coming from all over the world. It is so much fun to have many students from many different ethnic backgrounds. At each annual Christmas student recital, you see their skiiful performances and their parents prepare all sorts of ethnic food and goodies! Music and food are the most fun things in life!

I am a 60 year old bass player at UNLV Orchestra. I was always thinking to play piano ever since I was young, but with no avail. But now I am able to afford piano lessons and was introduced by a friend to the Lai Piano studio! Mr, is a very well=trained pianist. His teaching method is excellent. Although as a 60 year old man, my finger are stiff and not as those young students here at the Lai studio. But I am play a lot of songs now. I repect Mr. Lai very much, patient, fun, and gentle with m.

He got the superior with honor at the Jr Festival this year. And even me as his mother, I have learned along side with Lukas! And I can play the accompaniment part with my sons music!
