About
We believe in unlocking the creativity in all of us by offering an array of art classes for all ages and abilities. I’ve been a certified Bob Ross instructor for 15 years. I’ve taught for several Colleges, Washoe County School District, and Recreation Centers in my area. I’ve taught hundreds of students and I can teach you too. No previous art experience necessary.
i show people what they look at everyday but don’t see. I can teach them things they never thought possible. I give them encouragement and a distraction from a world that can be a little harsh. When they tell me “thank you” “you’ve changed my life” I reply “no you’ve changed mine. Art is my world and I want to share it with you.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know students by asking about previous experience and what they like best about art. This gets them talking so that they feel more comfortable. I also like to read their boby language in class to see if they are experiencing frustration. If they are I give more one on one time with them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a certified Bob Ross instructor for 15 years. I've taught at all of the Communtiy Colleges in my area including Carson City and Fernely as well as the Washoe County School District and the area Parks and Recreation Centers for the last 10 years. I've recently opened my own Art Center in Sparks Nevada.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Taught a Paint Your Pets Portrait fundraiser/adoption event for the Nevada Humane Society. We were able to raise over $500 and adopted out all of the dogs/cats that were at the Art Center that day.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for good ratings and don't be afraid to meet them in person before taking a class.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask them how long they have been teaching, what other mediums are they experienced in and where they got their education from.
