About
Hello! I am a retired architect, professional photographer, and former adjunct instructor at Hudson Valley Community College. Today I work exclusively in 35mm digital format with Nikon cameras and lenses to produce high quality, color and levels corrected digital images in a range of resolutions suitable for trade show displays, prints & wall décor, corporate publications, annual reports, press kits, advertisements, e-books, editorial & magazine publication, and web pages.
Areas of specialty include Architectural and Interiors photography, Product photography and Landscape and Travel photography.
Most recently my work was one of several artists displayed at the juried "Pop-Up Art Show" held during the City of Troy's 2018 Victorian Stroll held on 11/30/18. I have also recently been a featured artist and lecturer at the Malta League Of Artists: 2018 Plein Air Arts Festival.
I am an educator at heart with a passion for life long learning. I am skilled in and offer instruction in both digital photography and Adobe Lightroom.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a retired architect and former educator with 12 years experience as an adjunct instructor at Hudson Valley Community College located in Troy, NY. I also currently provide professional architectural and interiors photography services, and product photography services to a variety of clients.
My personal work is on permanent display in the offices of the Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce and I have exhibited in several juried art shows.
How did you get started teaching?
While at SUNY Plattsburgh, as a Fine Arts student (concentration in photography), I worked in the college's photo lab providing informal instruction to 1st and 2nd year photography students. Then, while attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's School of Architecture, I served as a Teaching Assistant while completing my Master of Architecture degree. In 1999 while working as a practicing Registered Architect I began teaching evening classes in the Civil and Construction Technology department at Hudson Valley Community Colleg, located in Troy, NY
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly young adults and returning students.
