About
Hi! My name is Ray and I am a foodaholic! I am the one posting on Instagram at least twice a day with the hashtag #foodie :) I love cooking and baking ever since I was little. I just recently started Peaches + Pamplemousse to help other people learn to cook tasty meals within their diet. It is very important to figure out what style to base your diet on. This all comes down to your gut health. What makes you energetic and what does not? In P+P we are focused on whole foods. As they provide the highest nutritious value. What we do differently than anywhere else, is that we offer to teach you how to prep meals in accordance with your daily calories, depending on your diet goals. If you do not know what you want to learn to cook, after a brief interview with you, will help you find out the best cooking style and diet for you. We also offer meal prep cooking and vegan baking.
In P+P we believe that nature has a cure for everything. Therefore we are food fanatics who enjoy creating amazing flavors yet simple and full of highly nutritious whole foods which bring your body a lot of energy instead of making it tired!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1. Finding out what my new student's nutrition goals are is the most important thing for me. Do you want more energy, better sleep, balanced mind? Try out a new diet etc.
2. Find out about your lifestyle and habits.
3. Creating you suggestions based on your new diet goals.
4. If you want to learn how to make a specific dish, I will work with you to figure out what kind is the best for you - let's say you want to learn how to make spaghetti and meatballs. Depending on what your nutrition goals are, I will teach you either the classical version or low-carbs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been cooking for 20 years. The first ever dish I made all by myself was pancakes when I was 7 years old after my brother jumped into a lake with his clothes on and our parents were very at him. So I tried to bargain my brother's punishment with homemade pancakes. After that I have found out that I have a natural knack for cooking and mixing flavors together. I tend to move from one style of cooking to another as my ideas of food progress. Currently I am obsessed with paleo-based foods and vegan baking, but since I have been doing it so long and EVERY DAY I know how to cook in different styles - from making yeast-based classical pizza dough to cauliflower crust.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do ask for about a 150$ per average 3h session because I will be providing you so much more than just a meal. I will be providing you with a plan how to eat within your preferred diet, what foods to choose and other tips and tricks. But do not let this make you hesitant! I rather prefer to set the price case by case - and every one of them is different. So just let me know what you need and I will help you accomplish it!
How did you get started teaching?
I actually started teaching my roommates how to cook.
