Evan Schwartz Art
About
I am an exhibiting artist with over a decade of experience as a classroom art teacher for middle and high school students. In addition to skill building, I know what art colleges and magnet schools are looking for and can help you build a dynamic portfolio that you can feel confident about when you apply.
I have a successful track record of teaching a wide variety of drawing and painting mediums and skills in a way that my students can easily understand, apply, and build upon.
If you choose me you will not only get the benefit of my experience as a teacher and exhibiting artis, but also from a teacher who cares about the progress and goals of each of my students.
Apart from our human capacity for love, think, and create, I feel the arts are what elevate our species above all others.
As a species it has always been crucial for us to use the arts as a way to express ourselves, communicate, and make sense of the world around us.
As a teacher of art it gives me a sense of pride to be able to give the gifts of art making to my students that learning the skills will eventually bring to them as they gain mastery over their drawing and painting skills.
