For the past 10 years, I have worked with clients from a diverse range of fitness experience levels, health histories, and injuries as an AAFA certified personal trainer. Whether you are an athlete looking to improve your performance or have never set foot in a gym I can create and teach a personalized and fun fitness program to help you meet your goals.

It is sincerely gratifying to work with motivated clients and see them achieve their goals. Seeing someone's body transform as their self esteem and confidence blossom is the best part of being a trainer.

It’s extremely rare that I write reviews, but I feel that the training I received from Dion merits acknowledgement. I have trained my entire life and consider myself to be in relatively good shape. Several years ago, I felt that I had hit a plateau. I was training harder than I ever had, and was making no visible progress. I spoke with a friend of mine who highly recommended Dion to me. Dion was extremely attentive to my concerns and fitness needs and took the time to sit down with me and calibrate a plan that would help to pull me from my rut. After several weeks of working with him, I found that I was finally seeing some progress! My stomach was flatter and I was feeling stronger than I had in years. I was honestly skeptical about using a personal trainer because I believed that I knew enough about fitness to achieve my goals on my own. However, Dion showed me exercises and corrected my form in ways that I never would have been able to without his assistance. He set me up with a manageable program that fits into my busy lifestyle, which he continues to change and improve as my progress stagnates. On top of being knowledgable and motivating, Dion is incredibly kind and caring. He knows when to push you and when to dial it back a little bit. There is no way that I would be in my current shape without his help. I would highly recommend him to anyone, whether or not you have a fitness background.

I went to Dion a fifty two year old man, arthritic hip/knee and tipping the scales at two sixty. My glucose AC1 level was at 6.2 and rising. Dion put together a diet plan/workout routine. After a few months I lost seven inches on my waist size, my body has transformed. I am leaner and decently cut up, in some ways more then when I was a teen. Most important my glucose dropped dramatically to 5.7. Dion is knowledgeable and informative. If he’s not quite sure of the answer he’ll research it and get back to me promptly. As far as Dion training me, he motivating, patient and encouraging. One time he was showing me an exercise that I was having trouble with form wise due to my hip. He didn’t just say let’s move on to the next exercise. He had me try three different variations of the excercise and he found one that I could do without discomfort. Bottom line I feel indebted to Dion.

Ive worked with Dion now for 2 years and I have to say the experience has been stellar. When I began our sessions I was totally new to working out/excercising and l was nervous about starting. Dion made me feel comfortable and confident during our sessions however and I quickly saw results. His attention to my individual workout needs was spot on and I could tell I he was really thinking through how to best help me achieve my goals. He challenges you to do your best but in a way that is neither stressful nor intimidating. I always feel like he is an encouraging team mate and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is seeking personal training, whether they have prior experience or not.

Frequently asked questions

We will meet for an evaluation, discuss your health history, current fitness routine, goals, and injury history.  Then I will outline a fitness and nutrition plan to help you reach your goals within a specific time frame.

I have a B.A. in communications from St. Francis College.  I am a certified AFAA personal trainer,  NASM certified weight loss specialist, and schwinn certified spin instructor.

In home training costs $90 per session. I also offer package deals if time commitment is made.

I have worked with athletes who want to improve their sports performance, elderly individuals who want to feel stronger and more energetic, and overweight clients who desire body recompisition.
