About
I am an RRCA-certified run coach, and have coached all levels and all ages of runners- from after-school programming for elementary students to marathon coaching for experienced adult athletes. I have experience both on the track, on the roads, and on the trails.
I am a former Division III collegiate athlete who specialized in the 400m hurdles. After college, I fell in love with long-distance running, and have completed over 20 half, full, and ultra-marathons, including two Boston Marathon Qualifiers. I am a fun, motivational, "tough love" kind of coach who will help you reach your running goals- whether race specific or fitness-related- and have fun along the way!
I love helping individuals reach and exceed their own goals! Running is often considered a solo or individual sport but I love coaching because it provides a needed connection, teammate, and support system.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I like to learn the following information to create a personalized training plan specific to the student's goals and priorities. I often find that conducting this initial "interview" during an easy run session provides the most accurate and encompassing base of information:
-Motivation- What is your motivation for running? Do you have a specific goal (race, time) or are you looking to improve or maintain your overall health and fitness levels?
-Commitment- How much time/ how many times per week would you like to run/train?
-Style- Do you want in-person training sessions every week, or would you prefer a training plan to follow for a specific amount of time with check-ins?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
