About

I’ve always wanted to be a illustrator, but not in the conventional way. So I decided to study the art of tattooing while still teaching. I started to realize how much the classic classroom atmosphere put restrictions on my teaching of the arts. I’ve always wanted to help people tell their stories in their own unique creative way. Tattooing and my private art teaching both able me to accomplish this passion.

I love giving my students the correct skills to better illustrate their vision. There is nothing I love more then to watch their art grow with their confidence in the medium of their choice. I consider myself a very lucky aritst because I truly have the best of both worlds. Both of my occupations allow me to work one-on-one with people. It really helps me connect on a personal level with my art students and tattoo clients. Each person’s story is unique just like the art we create. That’s why each class I teach is so different. Each one is tailored to the students personal interests and vision.

During my college classes I studied and excelled my art techniques in a variety of classes. Perfecting my drawing and painting skills using mediums such as: pastel, charcoal, oil, acrylic and watercolor. I also studied in the art of teaching figure drawing, still life, sculpture, photography, graphic and advertising design.

Now enough about me, on to the important part: You and Your Creative Future!

My classes usually start with understanding what my student would like to get out of his/her personal art experience. We will outline which mediums are most important to you to excel in. Also discuss what your favorite styles and subject matters are. These are important details to help me create your personalized lesson plan so you get the most out of each class. I will customize each lesson to maximize your progress in exactly what your most interested in. It’s important for the student to setup their own personal art space in their home dedicated to their creative process. We will also review your knowledge of the key fundaments of art. Enough talk let’s get started on blossoming that creative mind of yours and take the next step to start making some artwork! Please don’t hesitate contacting me with any questions you might have. Looking forward to hearing from you.
