Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to meet up with the student first for a FREE session. All I need covered, are the travel expenses.
After this session we will design a personalized class structure for him/her and we will work towards getting him/her to the next level.
We can do the same for small groups.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained a professional actor in Milan (Italy), Munich (Germany) and for the past six years in NYC. After I gratudated from the LEE STRASBERG THEATER AND FILM INSTITUTE in NYC, I have created my very own theater company, which I have been running ever since 2008. I train actors on a weekly basis.
I worked with actors of all backgrounds, nationalities and ages.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The prices may vay based on the needs of the actors, the travel time and the whether or not we will have to rent a rehearsal space.
How did you get started teaching?
I started with a group of friends in 2008. We wanted to create some personalized session to help each other grow as artists. I started leading the session and fell in love with doing so. In a short time I became very passionate about getting people to grow as artists and increase both the quality of their work as well as the awareness in front of the camera or on stage.
I reached out to other artists and quickly found out that many were looking for private sessions. Whether they were experiences professionals, passionate amateurs or people coming back to acting after many years, I found a different a personalized way to work with all of them, which would guarantee results in both the short and the long term.
What types of students have you worked with?
I worked all ages, from youg adults getting their career stared to experienced professionals of all ages.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have recently been working privately with a 19 year old student for the past six months. He was interested in audition for the BFA programs of various prestigious insititutions. We worked very hard to make sure he was going to stand out from the rest. We analyzed his monolgues, worked on his speech, found a throughline in his songs and increased his gravitas in front of the commission.
I am very happy to report that not only was he accepted, he also had to choose which program he wanted to go to!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Hiring an acting teacher is a very delicate process. Make sure you you meet them or speak to them, so that you asses whether or not you like the communication between the two of you. It is very important to build trust in your relationship, so you can fully engage in the process and find the artistic growth you are looking for.
