Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following:
The student would be asked to show any previous knowledge of the guitar i.e, any chords or scales. If the student is a total beginner, we start by learning about the guitar i.e., string note names in standard tuning. introduction to guitar vocabulary, i.e., frets, strings, neck body, etc.
A guitar lesson with me might entail the following:
Fundamental guitar instruction. Chords, scales, songs, music theory.Once a student is able to play a song or chord progression we begin the student teacher jam. This introduces the experience of playing with other people.
