Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first send out a health questionnaire to obtain important information such as goals, habits, etc. I then administer a functional movement screening assessment to determine strengths, weaknesses, needs, and any possible imbalances. The assessment measures flexibility, stability, mobility, strength, and core. Based on the results of the health questionnaire and physical assesssment, I develop and tailor a program to my clients wants and needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified through National Academy of Sports Medicine. I have over 8 years of experience in personal training and health. I have trained in a hospital based fitness and wellness club and worked along physical therapists for 6 years.
