The Weaver Method is a modern approach to teaching piano and music private lessons. Developed by Dr. Sarah Weaver, this comprehensive method provides training in classical music, jazz, world music, creative music, and music technology. Students learn performance, theory, composition, improvisation, and technology applications across a variety of styles. Instruction is available for students of all ages and ability levels, beginners through professionals, for curricular or professional career training. Instruction is offered in-home in NYC or online. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We will discuss the music background and goals for the student(s), setup trial lessons, and then the student(s) can decide to sign up for ongoing lessons. The terms are Summer (June-August), Fall (September-December), Spring (January-May).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ph.D. Music Composition, M.M. Music Technology, B.M. Music Education. 25 years teaching experience.
