American Sign Language has hugely become the "langauge to learn". Being able to communicate with Deaf Community members will :
I have been a teacher of the Deaf for 35 years. These leasons will include Sign lanaguage grammar: which include appropriate facial expressions, hand orientation, alphabet and number learning, and full sentences.
* reveal open-mindedness to learn a language
* improve community and work place support
* improve hand eye coordination
*add a much needed skill set
I enjoy creating opportunities for communication to happen. I love teach American Sign Language which increases Deaf Awareness and especially support communities.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would like to get to know you first.
We will start with Deaf Culture and appropriate social ethics.
We will begin with basic Grammar
Hand shapes using the alphabet and numbers
Then begin to build common phrases into sentences
Lastly, prepare for full conversations.
