Hola,
I'm a very patient and enthusiastic teacher, and I believe everyone can learn any foreign language. Learning a new language is like building a house: every new word is like a brick that you need to build a solid foundation. Once the foundation is built, you can keep building higher and higher learning new words and expressions in your new language becomes a very fun and enjoyable experience. I look forward to teaching you either Spanish or Portuguese when you are ready to begin:)

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to start by introducing new students to common expressions in a new language to build their confidence with positive feedback and encouragement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have latin roots and heritage. I grew up in Brazil, and very quickly became a native Portuguese speaker. I then studied Spanish and French in High School and became fascinated how both languages have their linguistic foundations in Latin. I believe learning a new language is a very organic process that should be fun, engaging and interesting.
At the end of each lesson, we focus on conversation using the vocabulary that we learned during the lesson.
