Violin/Viola/Voice Lessons!!!!
About
I'm a student currently so my teaching skills are very fresh!!!! I already work for a private music lesson company and I am looking to expand!!! I play multiple instruments, and I sing, and so I teach many different instruments!!! I have been playing the violin since I was 3, and I love teaching it. I push my students to the best version of themselves they can be! I would love to work with you!!
I love connecting with people of all ages!!! I enjoy seeing my students overcome challenges within their music. Often times I push my students to a higher level to really motivate them to work harder, and seeing them thrive and do well is something I love about the work I do.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get to know them and their playing history! I start by asking what school they go to, what grade they're in, how long they've been playing, and then I ask them what their favorite snack is! Just to lighten the mood a little and ask a silly question. I also will start with a warm up just so they can literally warm up to me before we begin, so that they're comfortable when I ask them to play or sing! I also ask what they're looking to get out of taking lessons, which I think is a huge part of it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am the President of my chapter of Tri-M honor society! I am a teacher at Lynbrook Music Instruction as well. I have been concertmaster of many orchestras. Also, as being president of Tri-M, I have taught many lessons for community service to younger children in my school district! I have taken music theory courses, and I study music education.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I don't have a standard pricing system! I typically think 25$ - 30$ is good for a half hour session!!
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching this year at Lynbrook Music Instruction. I absolutely LOVE it!!!!!
What types of students have you worked with?
All types!!!!! I have students in age ranging from 5-16!!!! I have quite a few special needs students as well. I have special needs brothers, so I seem to connect with those children well and form relationships with them easily.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
- what they're looking to get out of lessons
- what they want to accomplish
- what exactly they're looking for in terms of help
