Helping students find their creative selves is highly rewarding for me as well as for the student. Giving students the experience of finding their way through resistance or fear by giving them the tools to expand and indulge in their imagination via a natural technique that also fosters trust in oneself and the courage to take the risks of self expression.
Thank you,
Richard Zane Ross

How did you get started teaching?
Fell in love with the theatre.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with novice actors and very experienced actors.
The thrill for me is to see the progress of each.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Improvising the lines of the play to keep us (the rest of the actors on stage), while perfroming with a wonderfully talented, elderly lady actor who would often forget her lines, throwing us page or two ahead or behind the couse of the story.
The pLay: "The Children's Hour" by Lillian Hellman
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Take on coaching session and see how comfortable you feel, and if you feel a connection with the teacher or coach.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Be honest about what propells them to want to be actors. And,
