About
I help students build confidence and provide the tools and strategies towards this end. I am organic in my approach and treat each individual as a kind of puzzle to be figured out. What will motivate one student might not work for another student.
I find it incredibly rewarding to see students develop both musically and technically. To find their own voice.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I try to get a sense of their personality, where they might need help both in their playing and practice habits. I set goals and establish strategies to help them feel successful and achieve their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I draw on what I learned from my teachers, Roland Vamos, Lillian Fuchs, Raphael Druian and William Lincer. In recent years I have been studying more modern methods of playing and practicing from the likes of Nathan Cole and Simon Fischer. MM from Juilliard, BM from Manned College of Music,
has served as a conductor at the School for Strings in nyc.
Faculty member at Point Counterpoint, Kutztown Summer Chamber Music Festival, Stonybrook Summer Chamber Music Festival, CW Post summer chamber music festival.
