What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We set up an appointment and interview the student. Find out their goals, any medical concerns and then we select the program or personal instructor that best fits their needs.

I'm also persuing my Masters in Exercise Science.

How did you get started teaching?

I've always wanted to teach people what I've learned in the realm of Martial Arts ad Fitness. I have a great deal of experience and enjoy helping others achieve.

What types of students have you worked with?

I currently work with students as young as 3 and as old as 80. Some are high level athletes others are people who just want to move better. Most of my studnets fall somewhere in between.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

My oldest daughter winning in her fitness contest. It was great to see her achieve!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Check their background and their credentials. How long have been been teaching, who did they learn from and how muc education does the teacher have? Also, go in and meet with them. It's important to have a good rapport.
