About
We are a caring business who strives to make our clients feel comfortable and confident. We make sure to assess our clients and build on their strengths and strengthen their weaknesses.
While our business is on the newer side of things we have been giving lessons and training for over 10 years. Horses have been our entire life and we strive on continuing our own personal growth to ensure our clients learn everything they can!
Our main instructor is an accomplished 4h advisor and has coached many youth in stressful competition. She has also had many successes herself in the show ring in NBHA and open shows.
Instruction takes place at our private farm. Each client gets an hour long individual lesson focusing on them and their horse. We provide lesson horses but can also can give lessons on your own horse.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First lesson is an assessment of riding ability. If the client is brand new to horses the first few lessons will be proper safety around a horse along with use of proper gear and riding utensils.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
CPR and first aide certified. 15 years experience in training and lessons along with being around horses all my life.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$30 per private lesson. If clients are interested in group lessons they are $25.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching fellow 4h members who were quite a bit younger than me. I continued teaching through college where I became an early education teacher.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students as young as 3 and as old as 65. Each clients needs are specialized to them, no two students are the same.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The county fair.
This past year I had 3 students graduate from 4h. Each one of them I have coached since the time they started 4h at 9 years old. Each one of them excelled in their discipline and ended their 4h career in a place they wanted to be. They all said to me that they couldn't have accomplished what they did without my couching them through the years.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Go out to the first lesson and see if you click with them. If you don't get a good feeling about the person then you will be less likely to want to learn from them.
