About Me:

I have always had a passion for sports, starting at a very young age. A multisport athlete myself, I understood the value of conditioning and training the body to perform at its highest level. After finishing my personal sports career as well as serving in the Armed Forces; I decided to continue my passion for sports as a collegiate basketball coach and a Personal Trainer.

Through my experiences within coaching and sports in general. I have had the opportunity to work with and specialize in the physical development of athletes, ACL injury prevention, and strength and conditioning in youth.

Some choose not to participate in sports, but all should have the opportunity to be trained like an athlete. My commitment is to train your body to perform; what you do with it is up to you!

Fundamentals are critical in any craft you want to master. The fundamentals of basketball, as well as the fundamentals of strength & conditioning. All must broken down and built up through high repetition and proper technique.

Basketball - After years of coaching and seeing the decline of basic fundamentals in players. I wanted to provide a resource for fundamentals to still be the foundation of all training.

Strength & Conditioning - Being a Women's Collegiate coach, and girls High School coach. Just like basketball, there was a need for more trainers geared toward training female athletes specific in their sport. A volleyball player does not need to be trained like a football player. I saw a need for this and began studying to provide this specific service in my area.

Basketball - Make sure the trainier understands the skill level. Always do an assessment before commiting to training. This is beneficial to both the student and the teacher.

Strength & Conditioning - I specialize in female athletes. If you are looking for a trainer for a female athlete. Check what experience the trainer has with female athletes, and have they worked with an athlete in your sport.

All athletes should understand what they are looking to accomplish. Do you want to get faster, stronger? Do you want to increase your vertical? Are you trying to increase range in your shot, or improve your handles. My suggestion would to be specific in your goals and let things grow from there with your trainer, but have a plan before you get a trainer.
