About
Hello everyone! My name is Annie Huang. I am an adjunct piano instructor at New York University, teaching private lessons and keyboard skills. Meanwhile, I am pursuing a dual degree of Piano Performance and Pedagogy there. Prior to NYU, I taught as a secondary piano teacher at Oberlin Conservatory of Music, where I gained my bachelor degree.
I enjoy teaching students in all levels, from zero experience to the advanced with Chopin, Ravel, etc. Sometimes I also teach the playing in pop songs and film music, you name it!
My principle is to ignite the inner passion of music and connect it to your unique personality. Everybody has a different style and pace; I observe each student's features and adjust my methods accordingly so that students can improve their music proficiency and understanding in a very natural way.
