About

Our school provides classes in the ancient Chinese Martial Art known as T'ai Chi. The style of Tai Chi taught here is known as Yang Style and is the most popular Tai Chi style being taught in the United States. Learning T'ai Chi can be thought of as "moving meditation" which implies that the mind is as important as the body, and that the mind must be kept clear, yet focused on each movement as you practice the solo exercise. Therefore, it can be said that Tai Chi is a mental, as well as a physical, exercise. Classes are for adults only and range from beginner, intermediate to advanced level. Chi Kung (also spelled QiGong) exercises are also taught at the school as a part of every class. Master Jim Holz is a 34 year student of Grandmaster William C.C. Chen of China and New York City. He has been teaching T'ai Chi for over 20 years and is skilled in Short and Long Form, Sword Form, Push Hands and Applications for Self-Defense. The school in Parma has been in business for over 5 years and its location is convenient to three major freeways.
