I love helping golfers find their natural swing which helps them play better golf and have more fun. Many instructors try and force their students into a pre-determined picture of a perfect golf swing. This gives the golfer too many, unattural things to think about. I try and simplify, making it easy to execute what I teach and even easier to repeat. I teach people how to PLAY better golf, not just how to perfect their swing.
I enjoy helping individuals feel the awesome sensation of hitting the perfect golf shot. I love helping people have the greatest amount of fun while playing golf. They do this by hitting better shots, shooting lower scores, and spending more time playing rather than practicing.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If they are brand new to golf, I like to start at the putting green and progress backwards to the full swing. This helps beginners start to understand the cause and effect relationship between what the club did and where the balls go.
If the student has played before, I like to start with an on course assessment so I can understand their strengths and weaknesses. Then we put a plan together based on the students goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently in the last and final (3rd) level of the PGA Professional Golf Managment Teaching and Coaching Program.
I am also Level 1 Titleist Performance Institute certified which helps in understanding how the body works in the golf swing. I am also a US Kids certified golf coach! I strive to never stop learning when it comes to golf, how to teach, and how people learn.
