About
I provide private lessons and group parties for those individuals interested in learning a new medium, how to paint, perspective drawing, sip and paint parties, silk painting, sculpture, clay, stained glass and much more. Great for adults and children. I am an art teacher at a Thoreau Demonstration Academy, teach classes at AHHA and have a BFA in Fine Arts from UCO. I graduated in 2004 and was a marketing manager for 7 artists at Urban Art Lab Studios.
I love seeing how much artists improve on their work by just learning a few techniques.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My teaching style depends on what the student wants to learn or improve on. I am very patient and assist the student to learn new techniques and educate them on basic art skills.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been involved in art, architecture, design and graphic art throughout college. I won the art medal from Cascia Hall high school for graduation. I have been in multiple museums for paintings and graphic art. Artists that I marketed 4 years ago still are thriving in the Tulsa art scene. One artist even opened her own business. Now I enjoy teaching middle school students the joy of art.

Private lessons are $25 an hour plus supplies. Paint parties depend on the number of participants and require a deposit.
