My passion is natural light portrait photography and creating exceptional and fun experiences for my clients. I was taught by former elementary teachers that were able to simplify the more technical side of photography which can be very difficult for some to get past.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Starting with the fundamentals of camera settings, general lighting rules and posing then getting right into taking photos. The best way to learn is hands on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have learned from incredible photographers Amy and Jordan who were former Elementary school teachers. They simplified every process in a way that made complete sense.

How did you get started teaching?
I have been studying photography since I was in high school back in the 1990's. I then took my daughters senior photos and fell in love with every aspect of photography as a photographer, artist and educator.
What types of students have you worked with?
High School students, parents and young adults.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I held a photo shoot event for My Senior Spokesmodel program including hair and make-up, music, gifts. This was to promote my annual "Senior Week" offering discounts and featuring amazing juniors.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look at the quality of photos they take forts and research how they were taught.
