We specialize in East African food cooking classes- Kenya & Ethiopia. We give a background of the food & culture, and the classes are fun and hands on!
Spice of Africa has educated over a 1,000 individuals through their cooking classes and dinners. Machua teaches what it takes a rural African family to get food on the table, while extolling the virtues of using fresh, locally sourced and preservativel free ingredients for healthy cooking. 10% of her gross profits from her culinary ventures are used to fund Village Community Development a local non-profit that focuses on improving the lives of rural villagers around the world through community and economic development projects.
