Question & Answer

Q: What is your typical process for working with a new student?

A.

This is NOT a cookie cutter course, this is tailored specifically to you and your artistic needs.

Each class is a one on one 3 hr session in which the student leaves with not only all the basic information needed to use the chosen tools, most commonly airbrush but also a finished work that included the steps and styles that interest them; ie portrait, anime, graffitti, tattoo as well as difficult materials like leather metal and plastic.

This is meant to get you working on your project or tools asap.

Q: What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

A.

20 years of direct client and customer work with names like Mcmenamins, Adidas, Nike, City of Portland, Timbers Army, State farm, Columbia sportswear, etc.

Including 10 years teaching airbrush.

This is NOT a cookie cutter course, this is tailored specifically to you and your artistic needs.

Q: Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

A.

75$ for 3 hrs is the stanard rate. times can be negotiated for needs.

Q: How did you get started teaching?

A.

The saturday market where I started airbrushing is where I ran into a large demand for airbrush lessons.

Q: What types of students have you worked with?

A.

Young and old, from experienced pros who want to expand their skill set to include airbrush to young artists who just love drawing and want to start going in a specific direction.

Q: Describe a recent event you are fond of.

A.

Airbrushing costumes on to people on the spot at the Portland erotic ball.

Q: What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

A.

Be selfish about your needs. you have a direction in mind even if its not clear to you yet. Data without direction is wind on a sale when you dont know where your going.

Q: What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

A.

What do you make?

Will you sell it?

How will you sell it?

Who are your customers?

Most importantly what makes you draw or paint?
