Owen's Music Studio
About
With over 10 years of experience teaching private lessons, and 3 years experience teaching middle school band, my rusty sidekick Sybille and I are fully equipped to help you achieve your musical goals, whatever they may be! I received my bachelor's degree in music education from Central Washington University, and am currently pursuing a master's degree in jazz studies at Portland State University. As a featured soloist I have performed with the Central Washington University Symphony Orchestra, and the Spokane Symphony Orchestra, and have been involved with several working jazz and funk bands around the Seattle and Portland metro areas. Having taught in primary and secondary public schools, I am equipped to teach any age level including adults.
Human beings are complex creatures full of complex emotions. You are the only person in the world that fully understands the emotions you feel, and to create music with those feelings is one of the most powerful, and fulfilling things a human can do.
