Rosie: Six String Music

I have taken on the journey of classical guitar and flamenco for over 9 years and I have recently started teaching students of all genres. Classical training gives you the virtuosity you need to learn anything you want, whenever you want.

Classes are structured by topic. Each lesson, the teacher will have an agenda for the student. The lesson is over when the agenda is complete. Sometimes that takes 15 minutes, sometimes that takes 2 hours. Using this approach, my students have been able to do in a month what most other people do in a year.

Emotions are the most private things a human being can experience and music is a gate to get in touch with them. Some of my students come from difficult backgrounds in which they have no choice but to be cold and make hard decisions in a purely logical way. They act like rocks and they feel like rocks. After bringing music to them, I have seen them get in touch with their feelings and grow as sensitive, human people. They strive in their jobs, in their families, and everywhere else once they learn how to feel. That change is what brings me joy. I want my students to learn how to use their hands to express what their hearts truly want to say.
