I have been playing music for over 25 years. Now I'm looking to help others find enrichment in music. I'm offering classes in guitar and bass. First I will teach you how to playing on the instrument, then we will work on music theory so you can understand not just the how, but the why.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, we start with the basics. What the parts of it are, how to hold the instrument, playing with the pick(or fingers for bass), etc. Then we start learning different notes and chords, as well as various techniques. You will learn songs that help to reinforce these. We will also learn a few simple scales.
Once the basics are mastered, we then switch over to learning music theory. This is where you learn how the notes and chords relate to each other, why some notes go together and why some don't, etc. This is the stuff that will take you from guitar or bass player to being a musician.

Pricing is per lesson. If you want to pay in advance, I offer a 10% discount if paid on a monthly basis.
