About
One of the most exciting parts of teaching dance is being able to share my knowledge of dance and passion for the art form to my students. I love watching how my students interpret my choreography to make it their own. The best feeling is when I know my students are enjoying my classes and thoroughly have fun executing my choreography. It is an indescribable feeling. My goal for all my students is to learn to love dance as much as I do and appreciate all that it has to offer.
I have been teaching dance for 6 years and have danced myself for 17 years now. I have background in ballet/pointe, tap, jazz, hip-hip, contemporary, modern, and lyrical. I currently have a job at a dance studio teaching tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, contemporary, and an adult fitness class but I am willing to train students in other genres of my background. I also teach jazz and contemporary/lyrical at a high school. I am willing to teach all ages. I love how dance has always allowed me to express myself in ways that words simply cannot. It has always been my escape from stress and my safe place. When my dancers achieve this, I feel as though I am doing my job. Working with students one on one allows me to focus in on a student's specific goals and talents. You can find me on LinkedIn or Facebook.
