About

Thankful for my wonderful music teachers, my desire is to pass on their priceless heritage to others. My familiarity with a broad range of piano methods ensures that each student will have access to an effective way of learning to read music for a lifetime of joy in music-making. In additon, for four years I learned the art of bel canto from M. Casiello, who taught at Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, as a scholarship student in her private voice studio, desiring to teach others this way of vocally healthy singing. Upon graduating from Middletown Area High School, I received every possible music award (band, orchestra and chorus), and I graduated as a music major from Swarthmore College. From 10th through 12th grade, I was organist and choir director at Valley Baptist Church, and I continued in that role in a number of churches in America and overseas. I've sung solos with the Swarthmore College orchestra, Princeton University Glee Club and, as resident soloist, Warsaw (Poland) Chamber Orchestra. Chamber music is another passion, and I like to help people collaborate musically.
