About
I love teaching piano! It is so rewarding to see students master new skills and learn the songs they've always wanted to play! It is truly so special getting to do what I love and share my appreciation for music with others!
I taught students in highshool as well as to in college, and it was one of the highlights of my time there.
I studied Piano Performance at Temple university from 2010-2014 after which I returned and have been teaching piano ever since!
I specialize in teaching kids, beginner and intermediate students. I hope to make music with you soon!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first lesson is all about reaching a common understanding of what you would like out of your piano lessons with me!
Once we have that established, lessons are strait forward. I like to start out with a quick warmup of chords and scales and then progress to assigned songs. The end of the lesson I review a game plan for your practice week so you have an idea of how to practice and prepare for your upcoming lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied piano since the age of 5 up until the end of high school and then went on to study at Temple University.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $40 for a half hour lesson. Most beginners start out with this. If we find you need more time during the lesson, we can bump you up to 45min which is $55
How did you get started teaching?
I first started teaching in high school when my own piano teacher gave me a few of her beginner students to me get my feet wet teaching before heading off to college.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked mostly with beginner and intermediate kids but have also taught a wide range of adults up to 80yr in age!
