Blackwell Boxing Lessons
About
As a Pro boxer for 16 years I have always wanted to give back to the young fighters and those looking to stay in shape. Boxing has taught me how to deal with the ups and downs of life and how to have teh mind set push through anything in my way. I want to do the same for others to do the same.
In our sessions you will learn the fundementals of boxing with a heave focus on technique and learn to see what the pros do when they are in the ring.
Jules Blackwell
Boxing for 16 years both amature and pro with 8-6-2 record.
Fought at the Legendary Blue Horizon and MSG.
Currently coach young fighters to become great at the Norristown PAL.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For new students we first go over your stance and how to throw your first set of punches. Where you hands, head and feet should be at. As we move forward you will learn how to connect with your punches.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Pro Boxer for over 8 years.
Boxing Coach at Norristown PAL for Years.
How did you get started teaching?
As I was trained by my coach I always paid close attention to what he was saying and showing me and I was able to translate that to helping others that had some difficulty learning. As I got older I started helping out with the newer kids before I would begin my training. I've had about three clients that I trained on the side for a few years also.
What types of students have you worked with?
At the gym we have kids as young as 6years old that come down for boxing and my oldest person is 62. We have been training together rfor the last 6 yearss now. Everyone can learn what I have to offer.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Know what it is your looking for. Is it more fitness or to actually learn how to fight? Talk with the person and see how they interact with people. Everybody is different but you want to be comfortable with who your with.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How much time are they willing to spend per week learning. Life stops for no one all we can do is find our time to do what we want to do.
