About
I am multi instrumentalist based in Nashville. I have a wide array of skills in the music field ranging from playing multiple instruments, producing, writing and recording music.
I have a versatile set of skills when it comes to playing music on my instrument. On drums and bass, I have experience and knowledge to play everything ranging from jazz to rock to country.
My goal for teaching is to give my students the skills and concepts for them to:
grow on their instrument, take those skills to develop their own language on the instrument, and mostly enjoy and have fun with the process of playing music.
I love meeting new people who have the same interest as me which is music. People from all walks of life coming together to learn, create and play music is a beautiful thing. I love teaching because I want to see my students taking the information I'm showing them to create their own idenity behind the instrument. My favorite moments when teaching is witnessing when the student finally understands the skills and concepts I'm teaching them and seeing the light bulb go on their in head. It's a super inspiring moment for me as teacher and as a musician.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My first thing in working with a new student is to find out what music they like to play or listen to. I think this is an important aspect to know when teaching because we all listen and get inspired by music we are listening to on a daily basis.
