Fit For Life Jenkintown
About
I teach a style of yoga that is passive and focuses on lengthening typically tight muscles and joints as well as improving the condition of joints and the spine through compression.
I draw from different therapeutic modalities and sometimes a yoga pose isn't used but a position that benefits the intended body tissue is used.
It's perfect for individuals who need the benefits of yoga but active yoga is not in their best interests due to physical limitations or chronic pain.
What I enjoy is connecting people to their bodies. Seeing the joy in their faces after experiencing realignment of their bodies and the lightness and release of discomfort it brings. When people tells me that they feel looser and a lack of tension, I know I have helped and that brings me joy.
