Hi! My name is Jennifer and I have been in the health in wellness field over 14 years! I teach Pilates, fitness classes, and meditation. I have experience working with youth to older adults. I work with individuals just starting a workout routine to looking to challenge themselves for races and events. As well as individuals that are post rehabilitation from injuries or have certain health issues that impact muscles and joints. I believe in whole health and having a well rounded routine. This will help to create balance and feel your best!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Assess where they are currently at and where they would like to go/ achieve. Then set goals, check in for progress, once meet goals set new goals to keep building upon this.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Pilates, Barre, TRX certified. Working on run coach certification. Health coaching over 10 years. In health field 14 plus years. Worked with all populations young adult and up.

How did you get started teaching?
During college I got group fitness certified and have been teaching since 2007. I have always enjoyed exercise through various methods - being taught or teaching in group and privates.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
With the help of endurance and speed training as well as Pilates I have completed half marathons, a marathon, a day 35 mile challenge, an over night volcano hike, and other long challenging hikes.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher that listens to you and what you need and want! Work with someone that will modify and challenge you as needed!
