Donald Record Guitar Lessons

My teaching approach:

What I lack in teaching experience, I more than make up for exposing the creativity of an eager musician, along with diagnosing issues that a student encounters in the natural learning process. I have written music for two bands in the past, taught several guitarists along the way, and am furthering my learning of audio engineering using some of my more recent rock/metal material, with hopes of having something concrete in early 2016.

My guitar lessons take place in:

Guitar Techniques:

Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Fingerstyle, Performance, Improvisation, Jamming Skills, Reading Music, Music Theory, Scales and Exercises, Song Writing, Recording and Production, Guidance In Equipment Selection

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following:

Understand what motivated them to be a better guitar player and/or songwriter and also what goal they want to reach. Only once I know that can I assess their playing ability and pin-point what it will take for them to improve most efficiently.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following:

A lot of playing back and forth, refining techniques, and give the student plenty of healthy rudimentary work for them to work on. This is to help with techniques that they may struggle with, and to not waste a second of student-teacher interaction.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following:

Anyone - just as long as they comfortable with me learning along the way as well. Even for players who are more skilled than myself, I can ensure that my input will still benefit their technique and artistic ability.
