About
I absolutely love sharing yoga with the people around me; not only is it a great workout that tones and lengthens the muscles, it teaches one to tune into his or her body, notice the breath, and clear the mind.
My yoga journey began in June of 2012 when I attended a heated power yoga class for the first time. I immediately fell in love with the practice!
I attended my Level One Training in Sedona, Arizona with Baron Baptiste, in June of 2016 to learn more about the power yoga practice and to be certified to teach. I met so many wonderful, amazing people at Level One; I left feeling inspired and motivated with goals of someday opening my own studio!
My degree is from Duquesne University in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I went into education with the hopes of making a difference in the lives of my students; after teaching at Carnegie Mellon University's childcare center and at St. Louise de Marillac School, I have learned that I can use my education and my love of yoga to teach children skills that will last a lifetime: how to have a healthy, active lifestyle, how to focus, how to cope, manage, and reduce stress, etc. Where would we be today if we had learned these skills as children?!
I hope to make a difference in the lives of my yoga students, students of all ages and abilities. I look forward to meeting you!

There is nothing I love more than when a student begins to notice the changes in her body after a consistent practice. Or when she finally feels like she's "nailed" the pose she has been working on for some time. That gives me all the feels!
