Tori Queri - Yoga, Meditation, & Wellness
About
Hello and Namaste,
I am so excited you have landed here. Yoga, meditation, and wellness on their own are powerful, but when combined our lives can be transformed for the better.
I have had the pleasure of teaching yoga, meditation, and wellness for over two years. I received my 200 hour yoga teaching certification in Chicago and since then have 15 credit hours in yoga for trauma and attended specialized workshops for Yin Yoga and Prenatal Yoga. My desire to teach yoga stems from helping people heal and feel good in their bodies.
Yoga with me will revolve around your goals and creating a practice that's best for YOU. We will move through a mixture of vinyasa flows, ranging from a steady paced class of challenging poses to restorative yoga with a stronger focus on breath work. This variety will help you tap into different muscle groups and familizarize yourself with the importance of mindful movements.
Research is showing us how meditation can contribute to our happiness and health. By working directly with me, I will lead you through different meditative practices and teach you how to weave them into your day-to-day. Journaling, using mantras, and breath techniques are just a few of the exercises I will lead with you. Additionally, you and I will reflec on which meditation style excites you the most and why.
Wellness can take on many forms. From the food you eat, to the clothes you wear, this is truly your chance to get creative on what wellness means to you! I can aid in recieps, sustainable living, journaling, and much more to help you find new enriching rituals.
Whether you're looking to do strictly yoga, yoga and meditation, or a mixture of the three, sessions with me can be customized around your area(s) of focus. The only way we see results is to follow through on our intentions regularly. My role in this effort is to support and encourage you in any way I can.
Together, we will discover practices that will enhance your life, helping you to tune inward.

How did you get started teaching?
From a young age, I knew I wanted to teach. I started out an education major while attending DePaul University in Chicago, but knew teaching academics to children was not my calling. It was when I found yoga did I find the area I wanted to teach. This healing and transformative practice has changed my life and I seek to share it's incredible powers with others.
