I've been painting and creating professionally since 1993 and I love helping others tap in to their creative abilities. I've been teaching students since 2013 in gallerys and studios around Charleston and as a guest instructor in upstate SC. I also do in home and private sip & paint events. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I teach a Fundementals of Acrylics class that is 2 hours long per class and meets for 6 weeks.
In addition, I teach private lessons in my backyard studio. all classes include supplies.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors in psychology with a minor in fine arts and a masters in educational psychology. I have been painting and teaching since 1993.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My fee for private instruction is $50 per hour. My group fee (based on scheduling and availability) is $250.00 for a 6 week class that meets 2 hours per week. Limited to 8 students.
