Hello! I teach yoga, water aerobics, senior fitness, and group fitness (cardio) classes to every age and ability.
My credentials include certifications in the following:
Yoga Instructor (Yoga Alliance Registered)
Water Aerobics Instructor (WaterArt International)
Silver Sneakers Instructor (Classic, Stability, and Circuit)
Group Exercise Instructor (American Sports & Fitness Association)
ZUMBA and ZUMBA GOLD licensed
CPR/AED
I am independently licensed/insured.
I teach strength, core, balance, Silver Sneakers, water, yoga, meditation/mindfulness, WalkFit, cardio, and two classes I designed for people age 50+. Cardio-Yo combines the best of cardio with yoga, and Fit50, a high intensity cardio class.
Additionally, I provide one-to-one fitness classes for those residents who may not care for or who can't participate in group classes due to emotional, mental or physical limitations.
I also work as an independent contractor teaching yoga, water aerobics, and fitness at the following: Charleston County Parks and Recreation, O2 Fitness, Barefoot Yoga Studio, CRUNCH Fitness, and the Lowcountry Senior Center.
I love teaching classes to people who want to learn new skills, feel better physically and mentally, and develop strength, balance, and improve their overall fitness level.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My goal with new students is to create an environment of comfort that allows for each student to feel at ease in their own ability. I typically ask for input about likes, dislikes, health concerns, or other things that I need to know to best help the student(s).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am trained in the following:
Yoga - Yoga Alliance Member since 2015 with more than 2,000 teaching hours
Water Aerobics - WaterArt International since 2016 with hundreds of teaching hours. Includes H20 High Intensity, Deep Water Aerobics, Arthritis Specialization.

Zumba and Zumba Gold License
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is based on number of students and any special requests. Typically classes range from $25 - $45, depending on location, time, number of students, type of class, etc.
