My methods get to the point. I will put you in position for success while having a pleasant experience of learning the hardest sport in the world. This game is a life long process no matter what level you have achieved.
I love the game of golf. I love teaching the game. I enjoy the aspect of making students smile from their own success of being compliant, to be in a position to pursue the wonderful game of golf.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Playing with an employee at Pine Oaks golf club in Johnson City recently, and giving a critique to put him in position for better contact off the tee. To see his reaction of happiness and to hear him actually say, "I've NEVER hit a drive like this in my entire life of nearly 300 yards. It's just like myself running into my swing coach from the past, and thanking him for putting my game to a US Open qualifying position.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't worry about how far you want to hit a drive. My methods start with short game which puts your swing in position for the long game. 100 yards and in is my specialty along with golf course management to navigate around the course.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Question their goal orientation, what they would like to achieve, and what is most important for them to further their skills starting with the basics to more advanced methods.
