Jerry Bollinger Golf Lessons

I have been teaching golf since June 2011. I am a certified Master Teaching Professional through the Professional Golf Teachers Association of America (PGTAA), member #5172. I have taught part-time, just a way to give back to the game I love. I have taught children, teenagers, and adults, both male and female. My style of teaching is to leverage their sports background and incorporate that into their golf swing. I had a student with no sports background but was a musician. I taught him to play using tempo, he was shooting around 100 in 2 months. I have taught in the Wisconsin/Illinois area, I moved to the Nashville in November 2013. During an hour lesson we will start the lesson with 15 minutes on the short game. The remainder of the lesson depends on the student. If there is a specific area of their golf game they are having problems with, we will work on that. If they don't have something specific, I spend time on driving or iron play, 5 minutes on game management, and 5 minutes reviewing what we had practiced during the lesson. I teach the student so they understand why something is done, not just the how. I want them to become self-reliant on understanding their golf swing and how to correct problems when they occur. Everything is done to build confidence in the student in their ability to play golf.
